of Baseball Pitching Machine Hits Another Home Run

A small company in Alva, OK that manufactures batting cages and
pitching machines has developed markets in California, Arizona,
Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, New York, Delaware, Illinois
and Ohio. The business is located in an incubator facility on the
university campus in Alva. The company is a premier builder of innovative
sporting equipment for leading organizations in a variety of sports.
The company currently handles Kodiak baseball equipment as well.
The International Trade Division has been working with the company
to expand it’s market to Mexico, Central America, Asia and
Japan. Marketing materials and company information have been forwarded
to potential distributors in these areas. The division has worked
very closely with the Oklahoma Trade Office in Mexico. A meeting
with the company officials, the International Trade Officer for
Mexico and the REI International Trade Director was recently held
in Oklahoma City to formulate marketing plans. The division continues
to provide research data on opportunities in Japan, Mexico, Asia
and other markets.
Biggest home run? The company sold three pitching machines to the
Minnesota Twins. In May, the product will be featured during the
Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins game.
